Under constituent and activist pressure, Rep. Sam Farr joined 11 other courageous Congressmembers to vote against the war appropriation. He now needs to come out for withdrawal of the troops, stopping the bombing, and a ceasefire. Call him at 429-1976 to commend, encourage, and demand the next step.

Thursday, April 9th from 6:00-8:00 PM at Baytree Conference room D, UCSC. The film is a collection of interviews with Palestinians and Israelis and is considered to be amongst the most balanced films regarding the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.

The 4th Amendment will be once again summarily ignored on Friday April 18th from 9p-1am on Ocean Street in front of the county building, as city police arbitrarily stop, interrogate, and search people at their personal discretion.
