It appears that UC is bending over backwards to offer Ms. Denton and Ms. Kalonji such lucrative incentives at the same time that service and clerical workers have been without a contract for months, and struggle to stay above the poverty line.

The notions of religion are different from those of society. The Islamic Religion is much more fair to women, than the back-wards notions of society.
A lot of injustice was heaped upon women in our Islamic world, and usually religion is the accused, but I do not see it as the real reason.

On Friday morning the following letter was sent by email to IMC UK's contact address, threatening libel action over the suggestion that EDO:

(a) are warmongerers;
(b) are complicit in the deaths of innocent people; and
(c) make things that kill children.

The video is almost beyond description workers at a KFC slaughterhouse stomp, kick, and slam birds against walls. How bad does it have to get before KFC changes the way it treats chickens?

Update: "Malcolm X Grassroots Movement Members Arraigned"
Three members of the Malcolm X Grassroots Movement, Lumumba Bandele, Desaw Floyd, and Djbril Toure were arrested in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn just past midnight this morning. At the time of their arrest, the three were engaged in the legal monitoring of police activities as part of the Malcolm X Grassroots Movement Copwatch Program.
