We have been racking our brains at paparazzi central and have not been able to come up with the perfect caption for this amazing photograph of our Chancellor, Denise Denton.

You call yourself a paparazzi - your camera sucked! I bet you were shooting on program\automatic mode as you probably don't know what an fstop is. You needed a haircut, and when standing beside you (you stood by the doors taking pics and tape recording) I had to move as you smelled horrible. Oh by the way this pic did not capture what she was doing at all. So not only does your equipment suck, but so does your photography skills!!!

Come on man, don't be so hard on me! I'm sorry that my camera is not as fancy as yours. You got me though, I was shooting on program\automatic mode. However, I do know about F-Stops, thanks for asking. You know, you're right again, I do need a haircut and a shower! Sorry that i was not smelling zest fully clean for you. If I shower and cut my hair, do you think i may be able to get a date with you or Denton? I'm sure you are one top-notch photographer! Wow, I was just drooling over your fancy camera! Could I touch yours? I'm trying really hard to be just like you!

"Denise Denton, our new Chancellor, explains that a second position was created at UCSC for her partner, Gretchen Kalonji. Denton continues that her $275,000 a year salary is not nearly enough for two people to live a modest life, thus the need to invent a position for her girlfriend at an additional $192,000 a year."

Anyway, I saw you take this pic and was wondering as to what you were shooting for. Well now I know! This is how you spend your time. Justifying your existence by bashing others. Your family must be proud of this accomplishment…and all because Gretchen got a job. Most impressive! Get a life!
PS Individuals like you give the UCSC Students a bad name!

A person calling themself a paparazzi can have crappy equiptment. I agree that paparazzi_sc can not take a photo and probably does not know what photoshop does (holy red eyes).

It appears that some of the posts on this topic are being removed. Free speech, not on this website!

Some of the comments posed valid questions as to what students are doing with their time and energy. Who cares what people make…it is what it is! Salaries vary across the board and to compete in the market in this day and age to gather together quality people is tough. And from what I hear Gretchen is an asset to the UC system.

I am just pissed as mr. paparazzi_sc looked official tape recorder an all. For what bashing people.

My daughter was one of the performers and I was hoping that maybe she and her friends may make the papers. Instead Nothing. The photographers were there for this and for ?

So my entry is: Who cares what is really going on, or how long the students rehearsed for this day, let’s protest!

pppps - mr paparazzi or tim if that is your real name. you suck! Try doing something constructive. Turn the other cheek and try doing things that are positive. I am just tired of you young kids running a muck.

But how would you know about the performance. You left before it even started. How did my daughter do? It went well, thanks for asking!

And to whoever remove people’s posts – why did you do that? And why didn’t you remove this entire url? You suck to!

This website is for protesting matters. But when a Father protests against you ‘this website’ you in turn become ‘the man’ and I become the unfortunate.

When you protesters turn my age 50, lets see if you still are as angry at the world.

This is all good-natured fun, folks. We tease those whom we love.

BTW, I liked that she chose to cut costs on her investiture luncheon and used some of the remainder of her funds to talk about diversity on campus.
