WTO/NAFTA/GATT/FTAA "free trade" isn't
You can bet that, whenever "freedom" in some aspect of life can be described only by a shelf of thick books consisting of wispy-thin pages filled with tiny print, you're not getting "freedom" at all, but rather some confidence game with a pleasing name, designed to give advantage to some while hobbling the rest.
I believe in real free trade. Free trade between the States, with almost no interstate tariffs or duties (except those that sneak through the tiny loopholes in Article I, Sections 9 & 10, and the 21st Amendment), helped to create a climate of economic activity and prosperity in the US that has long been the envy of the entire world. What the globalists have force-fed us, on the other hand, is NOT free trade, but rather seems to be a means of negating the self-determination rights of all the signatory nations, in exchange for some allegedly profitable commerce.
Don't ever be scared of true free trade. Be very afraid of (and hostile to!) so-called "free trade" that is neither free, nor fair.
