On July 8, 2005 approximately 300 people marched in the San Francisco Mission district in solidarity with demonstrators attempting to shut down the G8 Summit in Scotland. These 300 people marched and at times engaged in militant direct action in response to the oppressive global capitalist system and the state of perpetual imperial war that it has created.

Ralph Nader told the nation to support Rep. Conyers who is considering moving forward on impeachment hearings. Only people of his state can contact his DC office, emails are filtered.

LA, DC, Santa Cruz and Sacramento held demonstrations in front of
the KTLA TV station, the Washington Post, the Santa Cruz Sentinal
and the Sacramento Bee, respectively, to protest the "NO COVERAGE"
of the Downing Street Minutes.

On July 8, there was a West Coast Anti-Capitalist Mobilization Against the Group of Eight (G8) held in the Mission District of San Francisco. The demonstration in SF was in solidarity with the mobilization against the G8 summit taking place in Scotland.
