On July 4th, as millions of Americans celebrated a 228 year legacy of slavery and genocide, about two dozen Santa Cruz residents gathered at Harvey West Park for a non-traditional barbeque.

Grilled pineapple, tofu skewers, salad mix, bread, and scones was served up by the local chapter of Food Not Bombs, who were kind enough to bring along three American flags as the main course.

Several of us have been collecting books and zines for well over a year in the hopes that one day we could find an affordable space to create an infoshop (not likely in Santa Cruz). But as luck would have it, the opportunity arose and a call out to the local anarchist community was spread and we've secured the space with some trials and tribulations and (some how) managed to keep it open for a few months thus far.

So we'd like to invite you and all your friends to come check out what we've created.
