I don't know why my opinions are so upsetting to so many people. If I have said something that is innaccurate or in error, please just make the correction. Claiming I am "lying" without naming the lie doesn't move our understanding along one inch.

If you take a black and white view----that Israel and the United States are bad, evil, have the worst motives in anything they attempt, will lie, cheat, and steal, and you also conversely believe anything negative said about either Israel or the United States as the absolute truth, then you are in good company with Steve Argue, "Guy",Go Away Becky, and A Reader.

If, however, you take a view that no country is perfect, no people admirable in every way, but that all are human beings worth investing our time, our concern, and our money, then you may be more interested in the things I have to say.

When I criticize a countries practices (say Sudan), it DOESN'T mean I want to invade them or bomb them. It doesn't mean I think everyone in that country is inferior or a murderer.Steve Argue jumps to conclusions about what I support and promote when I have made no such statements.

I believe he does it, because he does not want to deal with the actual points or information I am discussing, and as a method of diverting attention away from an area he would rather not discuss (I never said Steve was a dummie!), he instead accuses me of promoting a policy I don't promote, and then spends the rest of his effort condemning me for the opinion he just invented.

I have raised serious questions about ISM efforts to mislead the public with some questionable photos. I have raised serious doubts that Corrie was murdered, simply by using the statements made by ISM eyewitnesses themselves. I think the evidence points to accidental death. I am not infallible. But Steve Argue wasn't there either. And if he CLAIMS to be some kind of expert, then he needs to answer the concerns I have raised without launching into personal attacks against me.

Response to Guy: I may not speak Arabic but when I hear Allah Akbah!! the hairs stand up on the back of my neck! I didn't know what Intifada meant a few years ago either. Hey, its a learning process.

But if YOU ARE an expert on Arabic, Guy, why don't you correct me? Is a Shehada NOT a martyr for the cause of holy Jihad?

Do you think it was wise of the ISM to put posters of Rachel Corrie all over Rafah announcing her martyrdom?
