The devil is in the details

After looking at the photo again it is not clear that it is fake. There is a branch of some kind in front of one of Rachel's legs, which would be fairly difficult to fake with a simple cut and paste job. Plus if you blow up the picture there are fadings around the branch on top of RC's leg which would be even more difficult to fake. Still, the appearance of the other ISM member's legs seems strange. To the casual eye it looks like a cut and paste job. The same branch that was in front of RC's leg is also right at the bottom of the right portion (his right, our left)of the other ISM member's right leg. Too bad we don't have access to higher resolution copies of these photos.

Arguing about photos like these does not sway my opinion that Rachel was murdered. I believe the ISM about what happened to RC. It is just that one should consider the temptation to skew the facts under discussion when one is under pressure, such as the ISM probably was after the death of RC. It is in this light that I consider the photos to be open to question. Undoubtedly one or more of the photos is a "file photo" possibly taken days or more before the accident and/or in a different location (as demonstrated by inconsistencies in the # of trees and poles in the background between two of the photos in question -- that Steve has reposted here as the second and third picture-- that show first RC standing facing the bulldozer and then a very simillar picture taken after she is run over). It is difficult to say weather the difference in blue and red on the blade(s) of the bulldozer(s) is genuine/paint or is just a refelction off of the shiny metal blade.

I suppose I should beware of the fate of the Dead Armadillo and get out of the middle of the road (stop covering both sides) before I get run over...
