It was an American burning that flag. The message was therefore that the American government is bad, but that all Americans are not bad.

A couple of the most immediate points where Becky Johnson supports imperialism:

1. She made an issue of Rachel Corrie burning an American flag.

2. She continues to refuse to call for an end to U.S. military aid to the repressive governments of Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia.

3. She supports every action of racist Israel, including the murder of Rachel Corrie.
