Part of the point is that the campus already has a clear policy of not allowing employers at the job fair if those employers openly discriminate on the basis of race/sex/gender/preference/ability/etc.
Since the military DOES openly discriminate, then they should be treated like any other potential employer and not be allowed to recruit on campus.
Certainly there are more issues, and other employers whose practices are offensive and/or harmful in various ways, but the military is the most egregious violator of this campus rule.
