"War, disease and crime are all evil. Soldiers, doctors and police keep them from our door."
What fantasy world do you live in?
Soldiers are inviting war to our door, by unjustly bringing war to the doors of others. Saddam WAS NOT A THREAT TO THE USA. Show me the WMDs! You couldn't find any, and everyone knows now that the "intelligence" was cooked - there never were any WMDs.
9/11 WAS BLOWBACK! RETALLIATION! PAYBACK FOR THE CRIMES OF AMERICA'S SOLDIERS! And the next attack we suffer will be more of the same. The hijackers were mostly Saudis anyway, so don't even give me that tired old shit about "terrorists".
The US military has become a liability to US security.
Likewise, police COMMIT as much crime as they prevent! Your war on drugs is a war on small business capitalism, on homegrown medicine, and on personal liberty. It is only one in a nearly endless list of crimes commited under color of law every day.
Doctors are the only good, innocent people in your list. The rest are scum, hoping that innocence can rub off on them.
We do need honest, good soldiers who defend the nation. We DONT need evil, murderous, self-righteous crusaders touring the globe, attacking and invading and robbing weaker soveriegn nations on flimsy excuses.
Sure, they killed Saddam. That's great - how much has it cost Iraq? 100,000 civilian lives lost? Cities destroyed? Infrastructure destroyed? National treasures destroyed? National assets stolen and sold to pay for your "security costs"?
How many children died while you lay seige (politely called "sanctions") to Iraq
for 10 years after Gulf War I? Nearly a million!
How much industry was destroyed? How much sewage and polluted water flowed because you strangled them instead of even letting them rebuild what you had destroyed the first time?
How much has it cost us, in dollars and lives, this military adventure of yours? How much will it cost us, as Iraq's children and friends retalliate against America for all this?
Likewise, we also need honest, good cops. Cops who know when to mind their own business. Cops who protect and serve, rather than rob and harrass and kidnap. Cops who uphold the Constitution, instead of trampling it on a daily basis.
Cops who work for the public, not for the insurance companies and the drug companies and the cotton and nylon industry and collective Christianity and the welfare state with one hand always out and reaching for our pockets.
America has decent doctors, but lousy cops and soldiers. So lousy, that it prevents the recruitment of good, honest cops and soldiers anymore.
The entire police force nationwide, and the entire military, are sick with the cancer of blind loyalty to money and power with no respect for the public's authority. No respect for the US Constitution, and the HUMAN RIGHTS which it enumerates (right to be respected for all people, not just those born inside America's barbed wire fence.)
The dog is rabid, and needs to be put down for everyone's safety. And then we can get a new dog, one with hopefully a better attitude. I think we've learned our lesson.
