You know what really freaks out top administrators at UC???? Parents. Parents and well placed alumni who withdraw support. A well organized group of angry parents who have either pledged money to UC or who were contemplating pledging money, who withdraw it until certain demands are met, makes for agitated upper level admins. Letters send to directors of development, alumni affairs as well as the chancellor have an impact...i.e. in the wallet. A campaign aligning alumni who don't like the direction of the U hurts as well. Demand specifics...as in an investigation as to who was responsible for turning the cops on unarmed students...an investigation as to whether undue force was used, an investigation into the accounting for false facts by the University spokeswoman. Unless demands are met ask to be removed from any future contact for donations or other support. Let UC administrators who are accountable to NO ONE learn that there is a bigger world out there of parents who don't send their kids to school to get beat up.
