Liz Erwin was the source of the "information" that TUSC students were using drugs and alcohol prior to the crackdown. According to Police Chief Mickey Aluffi, no drugs or alcohol were found and no one was charged with using drugs or alcohol.

Likewise, reports of "6 noise complaints" made prior to 8PM at TUSC on Monday night are also suspect....unless Denise Denton had the police dept. number on her speed dialer!!

Irwin didn't comment on any noise complaints made after two firetrucks showed up, 30 police in riot gear, and students screaming in pain from the pain compliance holds used by the authorities.

Certainly it was much noiser AFTER the police got there than it was earlier when 300 students were setting up tents preparing to go to sleep for the night.
