It is not white society that is plaguing black america, but the mentality that has influenced african american culture to "play the victim". Programs such as affirmative action, racial quotas for the workplace divide people and cultures. If we are all created equal, why do certain races need benefits over others?

The answer is simple, No race deserves more than another. Yet, we find ourselves repeating in this loop over and over again. Tookie williams is not a vicitim of racism. He killed 4 people, 1 white person, and an asian family of 3. He wasn't fighting an injustice against the black man purportrated by the white man because he butchered an asian family.

The longer you keep Tookie Williams alive, the more you are promoting bad behavior. That's right! Kill 4 people and get nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize! Criminals often fake signs of mental rehabilitation nearing their execution. It's a common tactic because they don't want to die.

As for the poster above me, the teacher from watsonvillie, as much as I respect your opinion, you are an apologist. People should not apologize for being white or for living in the western world. Non-issue Racism has nothing to do with Tookie williams, it's a non issue. I have little remorse for those who harm innocent people. I am against the death of the innocent, not against of the death for those who would do harm to the innocent. I've said it once and I'll say it again, CRIMINALS ARE NOT VICTIMS! Homocide murderers do NOT need CODDLING! You live by your actions, you die by your actions. I like seeing justice served, verdict was given, appeal was given due time, criminal was unable to prove his case innocence after guilt, therefore, must suffer the consequences. I disagree with you, Tookie williams is more useful to us dead than alive. He can whistle the same tune, but at heart, he's still himself, no better after all he's been through, but just playing an elaborate ruse on you, to persuade you to save him pitiful life.
