I agree with ‘Anonymous Poster’ (it would be swell if people at least used an alias however…) that it is nonsense to make this man into some kind of anti-racist hero. He was a cold blooded killer plain and simple, and while I understand that there are people who are opposed to the death penalty, I think they are shooting themselves in the foot by defending this man.

The teacher from Watsonville assumes that “As children mainly of color, they are constantly under attack by society. Their self-esteem and culture are ground to a pulp everyday by the white friendly world we have created.� Baloney. Its this kind of talk that has allowed and accepted our communities to be taken over by gangs. Thankfully, this is a minority opinion.
