I learned of this case very late in the game. I wish I had known of it earlier. Anyway, I read about Tookie in an African American newspaper. Immediately, my heart went out to this man and I began to pray. I don't know what God's Will is concerning this situation, but I hope He will give Tookie another chance so that he can repay the damage he has done. I believe it is a better sentence than giving his life. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but that's just my opinion. Still God is in control and His Will is the final say. I pray for Tookie's family and for the families that have been hurt because of gang violence. May there be restitution, not hatred and animosity against one another. We've got to come together to see the real enemy that comes to destroy us.
