I am a molecular biologist from Nashville, TN. I am certainly intrigued by your discussion, but I can tell you that any active biological agent would have to be sprayed from a much lower altitude to arrive at the ground level in any concentration high enough to cause a reaction. Also, I'd be more worried about the folks inland to you, because the air currents in your area should carry particles away from Santa Cruz, not down and into your lungs. But I am moving to Santa Cruz this year, so I'm going to give this thing a look myself. Thanks for an interesting theory
