Let's invite all the street muscicians, tarot readers, jugglers, activists etc to set up downtown.
Remember how Pacific Ave used to be? It was so much fun, creativity and life. This is what has made Santa Cruz famous. Now this town is almost dead! Hardly any life, creativity or expression. BORING. Seriously, this has become Palo Alto by the beach, Silicon Beach.

We need to BREAK OUT of these chains that are slowly being put around our life force, and remind Santa Cruz what LIFE IS REALLY LIKE!!!

So, Here is the idea:

On that "extra" day, (providing no rain) everyone come out and set up downtown and DO YOUR THING!!!

When folks wake up and remember what a living downtown was like, they will DEMAND an end to the repressive "laws" that have all but taken the life out of Santa Cruz.
