Free Radio Santa Cruz Wins Award from SCAN
On February 13, the Santa Cruz Action Network (SCAN) held their annual awards dinner and ceremony at the Louden Nelson Center in downtown Santa Cruz. Free Radio Santa Cruz (FRSC) was presented an award for best local radio station in defense of free speech.
SCAN is a Politial Action Committee (PAC) representing the politically 'progressive' community of Santa Cruz.
Other award receivers of the evening included Sherry, Louie, Art and Revolution, Cassandra and Amy.
Cassandra and Amy received the "My Way and the Highway" award for hanging banners after 911 and defending in court the right for people to hang banners on highways.

Maybe if George let some pro-Israel activists speak on air instead of allowig every lying two-bit radical to use this "radio station" as a bully pulpit.
Please, a 35 watt station is a joke. A toy for people playing revolutioaries to play on....Nobody takes FRSC seriously....it isn't free
and it's hardly even radio....but it definitely is Santa Cruz....
